"Red Tails of Blue Skies"

I am pleased to announce the completion of my latest work, "Red Tails of Blue Skies"! This piece for Bb Trumpet Ensemble was commissioned by the Trumpet Educators Initiative. "Red Tails of Blue Skies" was inspired by red-tailed hawks, a bird found across the Americas.

Now that the work is in the hands of those who commissioned it, the premiere cycle can begin! Information on performances will be shared as it becomes available.

Consortium Announcement

I am thrilled to announce my collaboration with the Trumpet Educators Initiative (TEI), led by Drs. Flint Angeroth Franks, Julia Bell, and Elijah Denecke. The goal of the TEI is to broaden the existing literature to better accommodate a wider range of the trumpet community through the commissioning of new music. I have been commissioned by the TEI to write a trumpet ensemble piece at the intermediate level.
